About our products

What are your scented candles made of?

Our candles combine vegetable wax derived from rapeseed flowers and poured in France, pure cotton wicks, and fragrances composed of at least 75% natural essences. We do not use paraffin or petrochemical compounds. The jars and caps are crafted in Tuscany by master glassmakers with centuries-old expertise.

Are your candles refillable?

Yes, all our candles are designed to be refilled and reused endlessly. Our refills will be introduced in early 2026, and we will communicate their launch on our social media and via email.

What ingredients do you use in your perfumes?

Our perfumes are developed in Grasse and are composed of over 75% natural ingredients, chosen for their virtues. Born from a dialogue between the founders and Katell Plisson, a committed perfumer and aromacologist, they are designed as true botanical remedies.

What is the average burn time of a candle?

The burn time of a Maison Monravel signature candle (240 g) is estimated at approximately 60 hours. For smaller formats (70 g), the burn time is estimated at approximately 20 hours. This duration is obtained by letting the candle burn in cycles of 1 to 2 hours (until the surface of the wax is completely liquid) in good conditions.

Is combustion safe?

Burning is never completely safe. Even with 100% vegetable wax, which produces less soot than a paraffin candle, there are still slight emissions and an inherent risk associated with the presence of a flame. It is therefore essential to follow the safety instructions provided with our candles, including: placing the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, leaving a clear space around it, ventilating regularly, never leaving it unattended, and not exceeding 4 hours of continuous burning.

How do I use the scented rock?

The scented rock is a real fragment of limestone delivered with its perfume and botanical notebook. To use it, preferably install it in an enclosed space (small room, office, bathroom, dressing room) and place a few drops of Maison Monravel perfume on the rock: it slowly absorbs the plant essences and subtly diffuses the trail over time. To change the fragrance, immerse the scented rock in very hot water and let it soak for a few hours.

What are your delivery times and methods?

Standard delivery takes an average of 2 to 5 business days in France. For the European Union and international delivery, exact costs and delivery times appear at the time of ordering.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently serve the entire European Union and select international destinations. Destination availability, delivery times, and shipping costs are listed when placing your order.

Can I modify or cancel my order after validation?

Orders are finalized very quickly after validation, so we invite you to contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help you.

Can I pick up my order in store?

No, in-store pickup is currently not available.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept standard bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as well as mobile or online payment solutions (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal).

Returns & Contact

What is your return and exchange policy?

For orders placed within the EU, you have a statutory period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise your right of withdrawal. The product must be unused, in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, unless defective. After verification, we will process your refund within a maximum of 14 days.

Returns from outside the European Union are currently not accepted, except for specific provisions in the country concerned.

How do I make a return?

To make a return, please send us an email with your order number via the contact form available on our website or by emailing contact@maisonmonravel.com. Once the return is validated, we will send you precise instructions and, if necessary, a return label. Then carefully pack the item in its original packaging. Upon receipt, we will inspect the product. If everything is in order, we will process the refund.

What if my product is defective or damaged?

Contact us upon receipt with a photo of the affected product, a description of the problem, and your order number to our customer service. We will process your file as a priority and inform you of the solution (exchange or refund).
